An older, classic hotel with a rich history that overlooks the Adriatic Sea, offering a pleasant view and a cozy swimming area. The staff provided helpful service, especially regarding quick assistance with a room change due to a malfunctioning air conditioning unit. While the décor may feel a bit dated, it is kept clean and tidy. Breakfast was decent, and nearby restaurants offered a taste of local Croatian cuisine, enhancing the overall experience.

Absolutely loved my ocean-view room – such a treat! The location is perfect for soaking in seaside vibes, and that pool? Gorgeous! Plus, having a mini fridge was a delightful bonus for my chilled drinks.
Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi was dodgier than a cat on a hot tin roof! And don’t even get me started on the awkward, clunky air conditioning – it might have tried out for a horror film.

The location is excellent, right near the city center and beach, making it easy to explore. Staff were welcoming, and the rooms were kept clean. the bathroom could use some improvement, as I noticed cracked tiles and silicone work that wasn't up to par.

great views but outdated facilities
The staff were incredibly polite and hardworking. I appreciated the variety of food during breakfast and dinner, making each meal enjoyable. The terrace provided an amazing view of the sea, creating a delightful atmosphere for dining. Relaxing by the swimming pool in the shade was very pleasant, especially on hot days.
Some facilities felt a bit dated.

Just a prime choice for a weekend outing in Opatija with good price-value balance. The indoor saltwater pool had large windows allowing for beautiful views, a nice surprise during the stay. Just request a room higher up for better views.
